To bring the Body of Christ together to mobilize individuals, families, professionals, churches and mission organizations to go forth in Christ’s love to reach others across seas and cultures.

The GoForth 2018 theme is Go Urban and the focus will be to empower individuals and churches to reach and transform cities with the love of Christ.

The two main reasons why people move to urban areas are to seek a better livelihood, and/or for education. Timed during the mid-year school holidays in Singapore, ACS Barker Road Campus, where two of Singapore’s missions schools are located, was therefore chosen to be the venue of the GoForth National Missions Conference 2018.

About the Conference Venue:

  • It is near to the main shopping and hotel belt of Orchard Road, and is just about 15 minutes' drive from the financial district.
  • It is very well served by public buses with two underground train stations just 10 to 15 minutes' walk away.
  • ACS Primary & Secondary Schools and Barker Road Methodist Church, as well as ACS Oldham Hall and the HQ of the Methodist Church in Singapore are located within the campus.

No. The ACS Barker Road Campus will be the only venue for the Conference. Meals and tea breaks will be provided on-site on both Conference days.

It is. It is well served by public buses. Two underground train stations are within 5 to 10 minutes walk from the venue.

There are separate English and Chinese tracks, with different keynote speakers and programmes.

Attend 4 Workshops, selected from 17 workshops offered on 22 & 23 June.

  • Admission is free. Open to anyone who wishes to attend, including Conference participants
  • The 21 June Night Rally will be bilingual. Theme: Birthing
  • The 22 & 23 June Night Rallies will be conducted separately by the English track. Themes: Bridging, Blessing
  • The programme will feature keynote messages, worship, prayer, video testimonies and musical presentations
  • Chinese track will have separate Night Rallies on 22 & 23 June.
  • 55 Workshops organised along four tracks will be offered: The Multicultural Mix, The Ministry Mandate, The Maturity March and the Megashift Mastery
  • Each track has an experiential workshop with twin journeys into different aspects of urban centres
  • Most of the Workshops will be conducted TED-talk style, with lectures and interactive and discussive elements.
  • Of the 55 workshops, 17 workshops have been specially identified for millennials.
  • Each Conference participant is entitled to attend up to 2 workshops per day on each of the two Conference days on 22 & 23 June in the afternoons
  • Conference participants will choose 7 workshops during Registration.
  • Conference participants will then be notified of their confirmed 4 workshops nearer to the start of the Conference.
  • Circles of Passion are lunchtime sessions held on 22 & 23 June on 12 different topics.
  • Each Circle of Passion is based on a specific topic, and will offer opportunities to share experiences, network and ideas to expand the work or ministry.
  • There will be 12 Circles of Passion. During registration, choose topics you are passionate about for each of the two Conference days.
  • Engage with other like-minded participants, speakers and facilitators, to be further enriched and empowered, with the possibility of long term collaboration and networking.
  • Each Circle of Passion will be limited to groups of 60.
  • This will be held on 22 and 23 June 2018 on-site at the Conference venue
  • More than 25 missions agencies and Christian organisations will be participating.
  • All Conference delegates are encouraged to visit the Exhibition to find out more about training and discipleship opportunities to be equipped for missions work, as well as short-term and long-term missions opportunities in different parts of the world
