About the event

​​Join us on this walking trail hosted by Dr Tan Lai Yong in Jalan Kukoh—one of the low-income housing areas in Singapore. It will be an eye-opening experience as we warm our missional hearts!

As we walk in our small groups, let’s be aware of POEMS:

People, Objects, Environment, Media/Messages and Services.

Facilitator:

Dr Tan Lai Yong – Tan Lai Yong is a medical doctor who was involved in poverty alleviation and community development in Yunnan, China, from 1996 to 2010. After returning to Singapore, he pursued a Master in Public Admin at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and joined the College of Alice and Peter Tan (CAPT) as a Resident Fellow. He has received several teaching excellence awards and enjoys the outdoors and photography.
